No, not at all. I just find his sense of humor not very, just kind of snarky to the nth. I don't believe his characters, particularly, and...I was thirty the year Buffy started on TV, and just kinda well beyond caring about a high school show, monsters and demons or not. Perhaps if I were several years younger, I'd have been more interested, or it might have made more of a dent in my existence even if I didn't like it, at any rate. But I wasn't, so...eh. (But then, I didn't like Firefly or the movie, either.)

But no, it's not about the female characters dominating Buffy, which I actually think is pretty cool, genre stuff still being pretty cock-heavy, after all. So no shitting on that show from me - I can definitely see how its success would resound that way with people.
